spindle whorl
Whorl found somewhere, probably on the island of Unst, in Shetland. Age unknown. Black stone carved to shape. Scratched (accidentally, presumably) but has what appears to be two carved marks and 'x' and a '-'. Portion of the side broken. About 35mm diameter
