Snapshot photograph album no. 2 of the Russian Imperial Royal Family, compiled by Herbert Galloway Stewart (1866-1960). The album is covered with a dark red textile and comprises 24 pages with four photographs on each page, mounted through pre-cut apertures. A key to those pictured, together with the pages on which they appear, is written on the inside front cover. Dated May to September 1909.

Herbert Galloway Stewart was English tutor to the sons of Grand Duke Alexander and his wife Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna, sister of Tsar Nicholas II, between 1908 and 1917.
