Output transformer in original box, type OPM 6 (C), Ferranti Ltd, Holinwood, Manchester. Made 1915.
This transformer was made in 1915 by the major UK electrical engineering company Ferranti Ltd. In 1905, the company had been restructured with a focus on switchgear, transformers and instruments. Later, in 1921, a separate transformer division was set up.
