A Polaroid instant camera made from pink, green and blue plastic with a dark purple strap, with original box packaging. Known as the Barbie Polaroid 600. The green plastic flash module folds down towards the blue lens in the centre for transportation.

There have been a number of Barbie-branded technologies released by various companies, some including dolls but this did not. The Barbie Polaroid camera has become a collectable in the years since its release. Released at the same time was a Barbie 600 Drawable Instant film which added a floral border to printed photographs, but the camera will work with other Polaroid 600 films.

The Barbie Polaroid 600 was based on the Polaroid 600 Close Up camera, a popular instant print camera in the 1990s. This camera requires no batteries as the batteries are built into the pack of polaroid films used to produce.
