Embrace® Nest instruction poster, with adhesive edges, part of Embrace Infant Warmer starter kit designed by Embrace® innovations, Inc and made by Phoenix Medical Systems (P) Ltd, 2017

Placed in maternity wards, NICU (neonatal intensive care units) and hospitals, this poster gives information on how to use the Embrace® Nest infant warming set. The set is a low-cost solution to help premature and low-birth weight babies regulate their temperature. In 2008, four Stanford University students came up with the design as part of their studies. They were challenged to create an incubator 1% of the cost of a traditional one, which in the United States costs $20,000. Access to incubators is challenging in areas where access to treatment is limited due to cost or distance. Following clinical trials, the Embrace® Nest was launched in 2011 in India, where it is widely used.
