Snapshot photograph album no. 12 of the Russian Imperial Royal Family, compiled by Herbert Galloway Stewart (1866-1960). The album, covered with a pale green textile, comprises 24 pages with four black and white photographs on each page, mounted through pre-cut apertures. A key to those pictured is written on the inside back cover, together with the page numbers on which they appear. Dated March to July 1914.

Herbert Galloway Stewart was English tutor to the sons of Grand Duke Alexander and his wife Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna, sister of Tsar Nicholas II, between 1908 and 1917.
