Dust cap made for pocket watch (object number 1916-160) with movement number 5925, by George Graham, London, 1688-1751.

This dust cap belongs with the George Graham watch with movement no. 5925 (object number 1916-160). The cap protects the mechanism from dust and mechanical damage during the daily winding process. It is engraved with the maker’s name, George Graham. There is a hole for the key and a clever latching mechanism which holds it in place.
