They are playing 'bit' parts, as constables in the picture based on the life of cinomatograph inventor William Friese-Greene, and made co-operatively by the British film industry as a contribution to the Festival of Britain. Robert Donat is the star. In private life, Jack Hulbert is an Inspector of Special Constabulary 'C' Division, Metropolitan Police.
