Central Press Photos Ltd photograph titled 'TV as an aid for baby-sitting'. Caption on back reads: If you can afford to, television can assist in baby-sitting and enable parents downstairs to have no fears about the movements of the youngster. It is an American idea, a TV monitor set that is linked with a camera over the child's cot. It can, of course, be linked to other nurseries in, say, a block of flats and the baby sitter just watches the monitor screens as in this picture taken at the Ideal Home Exhibition at Olympia where it is being demonstrated.
