Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh at lunch
- Made:
- 01 September 1950 in Los Angeles
Planet News photograph titled 'The lady is a blonde'. Caption on back reads: Hollywood: Laurence Olivier (a trifle unfamiliar with his moustache) looks at his wife, Vivien Leigh, with a 'What-have-you-done-to-your-hair' look in his eye...for this was the first time he had seen his actress wife in her blonde wig, which she needs for her part in the film "A Streetcar Named Desire", by Tennessee Williams, which is being made here. Vivien Leigh played an exacting role in the play for several months in London. This is one of the first photographs of the couple since they arrived here.
