Laboratory glassware, Quickfit liner to form jacketed soxhlet extractor for solid extraction when put into a plain extractor body, made by Quickfit & Quartz Ltd., Stone, Staffordshire, England, 1934-1970. The extractor has a simple cylindrical body marked with the 'Quickfit' trade mark and 'EX 701" etched underneath and integral supports which stabilize it at the lower end of the jacket. The tube at the base of the object appears to be broken off.
