1080P DMD (Digital Micromirror Device) 16:9 resolution. Used in digital projectors. 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high, total of 2,073.600 pixels.

Digital Projection used the DMD technology developed by Texas Instruments to create the first DLP projectors on the market.

This development work took place at their headquarters in Middleton, Greater Manchester. As such, this projector is amongst the first ever built to display a moving digital image, developed in Greater Manchester. Individual components of POWER series projectors represent a digital interface, analogue input board, digital processing board, XGA digital mirror device and prism assembly.
