SVGA DMD (Digital Micromirror Device) 4:3 resolution. This DMD was used in the first ever commercially produced (c. 1998) digital projectors. 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels high, total of 480,000 pixels.

Digital Projection used the DMD technology developed by Texas Instruments to create the first DLP projectors on the market.

This development work took place at their headquarters in Middleton, Greater Manchester As such, this projector is amongst the first ever built to display a moving digital image, developed in Greater Manchester. Individual components of POWER series projectors represent a digital interface, analogue input board, digital processing board, XGA digital mirror device and prism assembly.
