Manual Exchange Switchboard CB1
One box of parts for manual exchange switchboard CB1, made by the Western Electric Co., 1922.
Box includes the following;
a) 4 x cardboard boxes of spare buttons / keys - each box is complete and unused. Keys include EXCH 1 - 10; EXCH 11 - 20; LINE 1 - 10; LINE 11 - 20 (ten of each key).
b) sealed cardboard box containing one N.I.V. CAP LAMP No. 9 RED
c) sealed cardboard box containing one 430597 CAPSLAMP No. 9 GREEN
d) 4 x metal weighted pulleys or cable ties; Patent no. 221165/11
e) 1 cylindrical light bulb in original cardboard packaging
f) 1 cylindrical light bulb; 660 OHMS
g) 1 cylindrical light bulb attached to Bakelite and metal fitting. The filament inside the bulb is broken.
h) 2 x cylindrical light bulbs attached to metal bracket with Bakelite fitting.
i) 1 metal light bulb fitting with wires attached
j) 1 wooden wedge with 'DO NOT REMOVE' written on one side
k) 1 rectangular wooden block with a screw hole at each corner
l) 5 x Bakelite fixings, each stamped '3 U.M.P' and one has a label attached which reads 'TRUNK + JUNTS'.
m) 4 x metal fixings for labels. Each has a paper label displayed behind an acetate cover
o) 7 x miscellaneous pieces of wood; two have a black lacquered edge and one has a series of holes drilled through.
