Patent for Usher's steam plough model. This patent was sent alongside the model and seal for Usher's steam plough in order to prove the authenticity of the gift. Patent number 12710 issued on the 18th of July 1849.
The invention is referred to in the patent as Usher's “Improvements in Machinery for Tilling Land".
