

Gelatine silver print entitled 'Empty Weaving Shed, Salt's Mill, Saltaire' by Ian Beesley. Prodiced for the commission `Through the Mill:, The Story of Yorkshire Wool in Photographs'. 1985-1987'.
Nearly three thousand people thronged the original weaving shed at a banquet to celebrate the opening of Salts' mill in September 1853. It is now an empty shell, abandoned by its former glories.
