3D printed assistive yellow and red device designed with a Gryffindor House from Harry Potter theme, designed by Drew Murray, for a young user, Isabella, made by Team UnLimbited, Swansea, Wales, 2018

After Isabella agreed to try out an assistive device, her family were introduced to Stephen Davies, a volunteer who made Isabella’s first 3D printed device in his shed. Isabella’s family could not find a device that suited Isabella or her personality. Davies was a volunteer for e-NABLE an online community who 3D print assistive devices for free. Inspired by this experience, Stephen partnered with the maker of his own device, Drew Murray, to set up Team UnLimbited. Their first design the ‘Isabella’ is freely available online.

Each user of a Team UnLimbited device influences the design and colour choice to reflect their personalility and favourite things.
