Health Education material produced for the Imperial College AIDS and HIV Awareness Week, 24th-28th February 1992, consisting of a Safer Sex Kit of 1 condom, 1 sachet of K-Y Jelly, 1 comic and 1 Helpline card all enclosed in a leaflet, a booklet entitled `Wise up to condoms' and an Awareness Week Itinery

Kits like this were handed out to students during Imperial College’s AIDS and HIV Awareness Week, in February 1992. The kit includes a condom, K-Y Jelly, information leaflets about AIDS, HIV and safe sex, and a National AIDS helpline phone number. The charity Body Positive also offered counselling for anyone diagnosed with HIV.

Universities are encouraged to promote HIV and AIDS awareness in a time of greater openness in regard to sexually transmitted infections.
