'Ghulam' (translation 'Slave') is a 1998 Indian Hindi-language action crime drama film, directed by Vikram Bhatt, and featuring Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee in the lead roles. It is a remake of Vishesh Films' 'Kabzaa' (1988), which was itself inspired by Elia Kazan's 'On the Waterfront' (1954).
