'Kaala Patthar' ( Translation: Black Stone) is a 1979 Indian Hindi-language action drama film produced and directed by Yash Chopra, featuring Shashi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. The film was based on the Chasnala mining disaster of 1975 in which 380 miners were killed.
The poster was designed by one of the most prominent Indian poster artists Diwakar Karkare.
