Single lens multi-aspect LED colour light signal
The Unipart Dorman LED Colour light signal was introduced on a trial in 2002 at Reading and Hayes & Harlington stations. It gained Railtrack product acceptance in 2003 and since then over 15,000 units have been installed across the UK network. Since the introduction of these signals the maintenance frequency has been reduced from 13 weeks to annually to once every 4 years giving significant operational savings, the filament lamp is still maintained every 13 weeks.
