Spare parts for a milling machine with X-Y movement, 1961, Plant no. 2322, used by The Monotype Corporation Limited up until the early 1990s. The two fixtures were used on the mill to hold parts in place whilst machining.
These parts belong to a milling machine used at the Monotype Works in Salfords, Surrey. It was part of the workshop that supported the manufacture of matrices for hot-metal systems.
