Hidden Disabilities card, with the wording 'I am visually impaired'

Made:
2020 in United Kingdom

Hidden Disabilities card, with the wording 'I am visually impaired' and 'I have limited vision and may find it difficult to estimate 2 metres for social distancing', designed by Tabbers Limited, part of Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Scheme, 2020

For people with sight loss or living with sight impariment navigating the two metre rule and changes to public spaces to prevent the spread of COVID-19 can be extremely challenging. Many people have reported receiving abuse or being confronted for appearing not to follow social distancing rules. This has impacted some people’s confidence and wellbeing. The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Scheme developed a card which people can choose to carry or wear.

Launched at Gatwick airport in 2016, the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a symbol that people can choose to wear indicating that they may need additional assistance, space, or time.
