Since June 2020, face coverings are mandatory in many public spaces in England including shops, public transport, and places of worship. This advice is to prevent the spread of COVID-19, also known as coronavirus. This reusable snood covers a person’s face and mouth and shows the symbol of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Scheme.

Launched at Gatwick airport in 2016, the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a symbol that people can choose to wear indicating that they may need additional assistance, space, or time.
