Grey/yellow observation of sunspots made by John Willis on 12 March 1882 at 11:30am. On the reverse Willis has noted “Large Spot (120)” (x120 magnification) which is delineated on the drawing. One of 275 pencil, ink and colour wash observations of the Sun and Jupiter made by Willis in Folkestone between 1879 and 1906.
