Brown/grey brown striped observation of Jupiter made by John Willis on 17 November 1905 at 8:30pm. Willis has noted: "The spot is the shadow". This drawing shows the shadow transit of a satellite. One of 275 pencil, ink and colour wash observations of the Sun and Jupiter made by Willis in Folkestone between 1879 and 1906.
