Brown/grey brown striped observation of Jupiter made by John Willis on 4 March 1906 at 10pm. Willis has noted: "Shadow of Sat. I on disk". This drawing shows the shadow transit of Io. On the reverse there is a diagram showing the satellite position. One of 275 pencil, ink and colour wash observations of the Sun and Jupiter made by Willis in Folkestone between 1879 and 1906.
