Many greetings cards makers developed cards with designs reflecting responses to the COVID-19 pandemic including social distancing, staying at home, and self-isolation. Self-isolation is one way of preventing the spread of COVID-19. In the UK, people must self-isolate if they have symptoms of coronavirus, a positive test, or contact with someone who has a positive test or symptoms. UK self-isolation guidance changed from 14 to 10 days in December 2020. However, self-isolation rules are altered in response to the changing pandemic.
