Shallow wooden rectangular case of three portions, with two hinged panels which meet in the middle to close. Three rows of lathes arranged vertically, slotted onto shelves within the case. Consisting of 75 lathes, arranged in 18, 39 and 18 across three sections of case. Part of a collection of ornamental turning tools, accessories, various chucks, cutting frames and stock material, by Holtzapffel & Co. London.
