Twin lens reflex camera for 117 rollfilm 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch. Taking lens is a Zeiss Tessar F:7.5cm f/4.5-32 No 1099367.Viewing lens, Heidoscope anastigmat F:7.5cm f/3.1 No53244. Compur shutter 1/2/5/10/25/50/100/300/B/T. Rack and pinion focusing, to 3 feet. Full sized ground glass focusing screen with spirit level, magnifier in hood. Mirror in hood for eye level use. No 53720 with lens cap. Franke and Heidecke.

Original Rolleiflex camera made in Germany by Franke and Heidecke, 1929.

This was the first of many cameras in the Rolleiflex range. After three years of development it was introduced in 1929. A twin lens reflex camera the Rolleiflex was the first medium format roll film camera, using 117 (B1) film.
