Homemade vaccination poster showing a green fist emerging from a vaccination syringe and punching a stylised image of the coronavirus and the words 'POW!' and 'VACCINATE TO PROTECT', created during an engagement session for dementia charity Arts4Dementia which was themed around the Science Museum's public health collection, made by Jeanne Pring, March 2021

“In my poster, the syringe fist represents the vaccine and the blob is COVID-19. The message is vaccination will fight Covid19, it will punch it out.” When the vaccine was released, Jeanne, like many has some initial concerns, especially as she would be making the decision not only for herself but also for her mother in law, Connie, who lives with dementia. However, Jeanne says “After much research and hearing from other people who had their jabs, when it came to Connie’s turn, I was less hesitant to arrange the vaccine for her, which I am very relieved and grateful for.” Jeanne
