Voice enclosure mains adapter. Adapter electronics by Lenovo (2012).

This is a power supply used for providing electricity to one of Stephen Hawking's voice synthesizers. The voice synthesizers themselves are much older, from the 1980s, but they were adapted to newer computer and communications equipment, and for his newer wheelchairs.

Stephen Hawking's communications equipment was powered by his wheelchair batteries.
