Rainbow picture made by the Palmer family, after a challenge was set by one of the children's schools to make a rainbow for people to enjoy, made March 2020 and displayed until December 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic
During the first lockdown in England, beginning on 23 March 2020, rainbows became symbols of hope. Many children and young people drew pictures and made crafts to display in the windows of their homes. Over a metre wide, the Palmer family made this rainbow from craft paper, poster paint, washi tape and ink stampers, with some additional doodles and scribbles from all of the family.
