Floor sticker with a red outline and white/grey back ground with "stand here" and the Kamson Logo of a red cross made up of three intersecting lines, made by Ritrama, used at Kamsons Pharmacy branches during the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020

In England, two metres between people from different households or support bubbles is the distance advised by the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It is estimated that spending more than 15 minutes within two metres of a person with COVID-19 can pass on the virus. Many businesses and public spaces developed ways of giving people indicators of how far apart they should be. Floor stickers are one popular method.

Kamsons Pharmacy is a family run business with over 70 pharmacies in England. The first pharmacy in the group was opened in Uckfield, Sussex over forty years ago, where their warehouse and headquarters remain. The company name derives from the business being owned by brothers Bipin, Piyoosh and Bharat Chotai whose father was called Kam, so they are Kam’s sons. The floor sticker has the Kamsons logo - a made up of three intersecting lines. A cross is a traditional symbol of a pharmacy - often seen in green. It is possible that each of the three lines each represent one of the founding brorhers of the pharmacy chain.
