Black bin labelled clinical waste
This waste bin is located at the kitchen counter behind Hawking's desk.
Half of Hawking’s office, along the windows and the long red couch, were used primarily by his carers. A table with chairs by the window mostly provided surfaces for medical equipment and related everyday items. Moreover, the kitchen sink, which used for food and drink preparation, also fulfilled basic medical needs. As a consequence, the kitchen counter also contains everyday medical supplies and means for their disposal.
