Desk- legs/base unit
While Stephen Hawking had considerable influence in the fund-raising that allowed for the building of the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, his office was almost indistinct from the others, and the features in it that made it different were necessary due to his disability. The footprint corresponded to two regular-sized offices including a corner spot. Most of the furniture and equipment in the office is standard-issue, in the same design found elsewhere in his department. But even some of these items were sometimes for helping with medical equipment and procedures.
