It takes a village to raise a child activity pack by Bromley by Bow Centre

"It takes a village to raise a child activity pack" consisting of two leaflets for a house template, two A4 copies explaining the activity, 10 copies of "What did you make?", 11 copies "My piece of the village" and three "Once Upon A Time" leaflets by Bromley by Bow Centre and ActEarly, 2020

In March 2020, schools and nurseries were forced to close for most pupils, causing massive disruption to families’ daily life and routines. The first lockdown in the UK (March – June 2020) was the strictest and schools were closed to all but the children of key workers and a small number of other eligible groups. There were also strict limits on other aspects of people’s lives such as how often they could leave the house and for what reasons. It was not until September 2020 that schools were able to reopen to most pupils. This activity pack includes a variety of activities to help families educate, entertain and occupy their children.

The Bromley by Bow Centre is a charity and community organisation which provides a wide range of services. This includes three health centres, skill building courses and health and wellbeing activities. It takes a holistic approach and works with local people to design and deliver that are tailored to the local community.
