ETM Type DD 110v 16mm projector used by Professor Henri Chretien c. 1928. Part of the Widescreen Association Collection.
This twin-synchronised 16mm machine was used by Professor Henri Chretien, c. 1928 to demonstrate comparative sequences filmed in Paris shot with and without his prototype Hypergonar anamorphi clens. The left hand module showed the 'normal' format while the other was fitted with the anamorphic lens and was able to project the expanded image.
