Trophy designed for the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering, 2019
This trophy was awarded to Brad Parkinson, Hugo Fruehauf, James Spilker and Dick Schwartz for their work on the GPS project. The trophy celebrates the way GPS has transformed our world.
The QE Prize holds a competition to design the trophy, open to young people worldwide. In 2019 the winner was Jack Jiang, aged 16, from Hong Kong. The shape of Jack’s trophy was inspired by wind turbines.
