Service sheet produced during the COVID-19 pandemic

A5 colour service sheet for the first service (Patronal Eucharist) held at the church of St Mary Magdalene, Bolney, following the easing of lockdown restrictions after the initial UK wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, 26 July 2020
In March 2020, churches and other religious buildings in the UK were forced to close their doors to limit the spread of COVID-19. The service sheet details some of the adaptations made by an Anglican parish church after public worship was allowed to resume in England on 4 July 2020.
Produced for the first in-person service held at the West Sussex church in over four months, it outlines changes made to the practice of Holy Communion, such as receiving the wafer without contact. Worshippers are invited to take the booklet with them or deposit it in a box when exiting to prevent the spread of infection, and are advised that no coffee will be served after the service. Donations by contactless payment are encouraged.
Group singing was not permitted inside places of worship in July 2020, so while the handout includes hymn lyrics, only recorded music was played.
