Sega Bass Fishing was released for the Sega Dreamcast in the UK in 1999. The game was originally developed for the Sega Model 3 arcade hardware and then ported to the Sega Dreamcast. The title is a fishing game which challenges players to catch different fish across differetn stages. The game's popularity was increased by the unconventional controller that was used to play it, the Sega Fishing Controller. This controller was plugged into the console and used to simulate the motion of fishing in real life. The game was later released for the NIntendo Wii, using the console's motion controllers to replicate the gameplay experience.
