Purple lanyard with 'Vaccinator', from the NHS COVID-19 Vaccination centre, North London Partners in Health and Care, 2021

When working in a busy environment such as a COVID-19 vaccination centre, it is vital to know who is doing which role. Clinics bring together trained healthcare professionals and volunteers to roll out vaccines. Many of them would not have met or worked together before. By wearing their ID and a specific colour coded lanyard, their role could easily be identified.

From 2017 to 2022 North London Partners in Health and Care covered NHS Trusts and NHS Foundation Trusts in the London boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington.
