A5 double sided letter to Lambeth residents dated 15 December 2020 informing them that London moved to Tier 3: Very High alert with public health advice, symptoms of COVID-19 and on the reverse the rules for Tier 3

Introduced on 14 October 2020, the tier system meant each area having their own alert level of medium, high, and very high with corresponding restrictions. Lambeth was placed in a very high level, like all other London boroughs on 15 December 2020. This leaflet details the restrictions of who you could meet, what facilities were open and how many people could attend life events such as weddings, civil partnerships and funerals. The leaflet also reinforces the hand washing, wearing a face covering and keeping two metres apart from anyone you did not live with or where in a support bubble. Anyone with symptoms of a new, continuous cough, a high temperature or loss of or change to their sense of smell or taste, were encouraged to get a PCR test.

The letter also warns that people must be careful over the upcoming Christmas period. Four days after the date of this letter, additional 'Stay at Home' level was introduced on 19 December 2020 across London and southern England, meaning that the planned Christmas bubbles of up to three households were not able to happen. The tier system in England replaced by a third national lockdown in 2021.
