A4 leaflet, 'Morrisons Doorstep Deliveries', service of essential items for "vulnerable and elderly members of the community, unable to go shopping in-store", picked up in Morrisons Sutton branch, June 2020

For those at higher risk of COVID-19 including older people, supermarket Morrisons developed their Doorstep Deliveries in April 2020. By telephone, people could place an order for the supplies they needed from a list of 47 items. Delivery was free of charge by a Morrisons' staff member from their local store. Each of the 494 Morrisons stores was given a van to make their rounds. The service was created in response to phone calls to stores by those unable to visit. By 3 June 2020, customers had made 100,000 orders.
