A5 leaflet, 'Stay at Home, England is now in Lockdown', sent to Sutton residents, by London Borough of Sutton Council, NHS Test and Trace, Keep Sutton Safe, February 2021
“2020 was a difficult year for us all. We have been facing tight restrictions for many months, which have kept us away from the people and activities we love.”
Delivered to all residents in Sutton at the beginning of January 2021, this leaflet contains information about how and when to self-isolate, and what to do if you had COVID-19 symptoms or wanted a test particularly if you could not work from home. At this time lateral flow tests were only available at certain locations and in bookable slots. Following a positive test people and their households had to self-isolate for 10 days. The vaccine roll out was offered in order of age and to those with health conditions that put them at higher risk of COVID-19. At this time this leaflet was published, people without any additional health conditions and aged 65 and higher were called for their vaccine. Support and financial advice were also available.
The back page carries the stay at home message as England was in the third national lockdown. People could only leave home if they could not work remotely, leave hom e for essential supplies, exercise, providing care and to be vaccinated. Only essential shops and services were allowed to remain open.
