Drawing, ink wash, Boilermaker working in the firebox of a steam locomotive boiler in the boiler shop at Crewe railway works, by Robin Comyns Carr, about 1943. Depicts the boilermaker on his knees inside the firebox, using a tool, possibly to burr and seal the firebox seams. Executed in a monochrome wash.
