Lab cultured steak, preserved in perspex, made by Aleph Farms, Rehovot, Israel, 2018.

This sample of Aleph Farm’s steak is made entirely from bovine cultured meat. The stem cells for this ‘first cut’ was from a cow named Lucy, a Black Angus cow, who lived on a farm in California. Aleph Farms unveiled this first lab grown steak in 2018.
