Brass Mounted Symmetrical Lens

Symmetrical lens in a brass mount with a five inch f.l. The slot of the Waterhouse stops is placed in front of the lens itself. It has a rack and pinion focussing mechanism. The lens is protected by a brass disk. c. 1870.
