Brass mounted concentric lens, consisting of two achromatic doublets of the new barium crown glass of high reflective index and a new flint glass of low index. Because of spherical aberation the maximum aperture at which it could be used was F.16 . The introdyction of the larger aperture Zeiss Protars prevented the lens from achieving any great success.
