They were used in a campaign by the New York Governor’s Office, encouraging New Yorkers to wear masks at the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic. Some of these illustrations were also printed on physical banners by Battery Park City Authority, two of which are in the museum's collection.

At the start of the pandemic, her American agent based in New York invited artists from the agency to create digital illustrations pro bono to help New York City Council with their pandemic messaging on Instagram and Twitter. As Chakrabarti explains: ‘We were given various issues we could run with - I chose masks and came up with the two phrases, 'Help save lives, wear a mask' and 'One small ask, please wear a mask’.’ Some of these digital images were then printed onto banners by the Battery Park Authority which displayed them in Manhattan.
